Methods of Dimensional Analysis

From the above methods, the following two methods are generally used in dimensional analysis.

METHODS OF DIMENSIONAL ANALYSIS

(i) Rayleigh's Ritz method

(ii) Buckingham's π - theorem

(iii) Bridgeman's method

(iv) Matrix - tensor method

(v) By visual inspection of the variables involved

(vi) Re-arrangement of differential equation

From the above methods, the following two methods are generally used in dimensional analysis.
