(ii) It enables to get a theoretical solution in a simplified in dimensionless form. 

(iii) Design curves by the use of dimensional analysis can be developed from the experimental data (or) direct solution of the problem.

(iv) The result of one series of tests can be applied to a large number of other similar problems with the help of dimensional analysis.

(v) By dimensional analysis, any complex fluid flow phenomenon can be easily solved. 

(vi) In model testing, it reduces the number of variables into three number of variables.
