Since the engineering drawing is the language of engineers to communicate with the people from all over the world, it must be prepared such that it is internationally accepted.
BIS CONVENTIONS Since the engineering drawing is the language of engineers to communicate with the people from all over the world, it must be prepared such that it is internationally accepted. Hence the Bureau of Indian Standards (B.I.S) has formulated certain rules and conventions to be followed in Engineering Drawing in accordance with the formulation and standards of International standards organisation.
