So far we have seen the projections of points and straights lines.
Chapter - 13 Projections of Planes At the end of this chapter we will be able to: 1. Describe the traces of plane figures. 2. Draw the projections of plane figures, a) perpendicular to both the reference planes. b) perpendicular to one plane and parallel to other plane as i) Perpendicular to HP & Parallel to VP. ii) Perpendicular to VP & Parallel to HP. c) perpendicular to one plane and inclined to other plane, as i) Perpendicular to HP & Inclined to VP. ii) Perpendicular to VP & Inclined to HP. d) inclined to both the reference planes. So far we have seen the projections of points and straights lines. As we know straight line is one dimensional object coined by a number of points. Having a thorough knowledge on projection of straight lines now we move on to the projection of planes, having two dimensions. This chapter deals with the projection of planes and its traces but the plane is situated only in first quadrant.INTRODUCTION
