Equivalence of Second law of Thermodynamics

EQUIVALENCE OF SECOND LAW OF THERMODYNAMICS

As we know, heat and work are mutually convertible. The work can be converted fully into heat energy but the heat energy cannot be converted fully into mechanical work. It violates the first law of thermodynamic statements. Also, a machine which violates the first law of thermodynamics is known as Perpetual Motion Machine (PMM-1) of the first kind which is impossible.

PMM-1 is a machine which delivers work continuously without any input. Thus, the machine violates first law of thermodynamics. So, it is considered as equivalent to second law.
