The word address format is used in part programming.
ADDRESS CHARACTERS The word address format is used in part programming. In this format, a letter precedes each word and it is used to identify the word type and to address the data to a particular location in the controller unit. These words are essentially alphanumeric i.e., the first character is an alphabet which is also the address character, followed by the numerical digits pertaining to information for the address character. The various address characters as per DIN 66025 as shown in Table 5:3 are as follows: Table 5.3 Address characters and their meaning
