METHODS OF DRAWING PERSPECTIVE VIEWS Perspective view of an object can be drawn by any one of the following two methods: 1. Visual Ray Method 2. Vanishing Point Method In visual ray method the points forming the perspective view are obtained by drawing visual rays from the station point to both the top view and front view of the object. ie., First draw the front view and topview of the object and then locate the station point in top view and as well in front view. Join all the corners of top view and front view with the corresponding station point and proceed to draw the perspective view. In vanishing point method the vanishing point (Vanishing points for two point and three point perspectives) is to be located initially which exists on the horizon line. Then by following the principle of converging of edges of orthographic projections of the object the perspective view of the given object is drawn.
