Engineering Graphics (EG)
A plain paper is most widely used for the preparation of all kinds of freehand sketches.
MATERIALS FOR FREEHAND SKETCHING The materials used for freehand sketching are: 1. Paper, 2. Pencil, 3. Eraser. A plain paper is most widely used for the preparation of all kinds of freehand sketches. A graph sheet with thin ruled rectangular co-ordinates may also be used for a specific drawing like multiview orthographic projections. A soft pencil of grade HB (or) H, sharpened to conical point is used for good sketching. A soft, clean and good quality eraser is used for erasing the unwanted lines.
