EXERCISE

1. A line AB has a length of 131 mm. Divide it graphically into 8 equal parts.

2. Divide a 90 mm long straight line into 3 parts in the proportion of 2 : 3 : 5.

3. Mark three points A, B and C at any convenient locations and draw a circle passing through these points.

4. Draw a tangent to a circle of diameter 50 mm from a point P, 110 mm away from the centre of circle.

5. Draw a common external tangent to two circles of diameter 100 mm and 60 mm whose centres are located at 110 mm apart.

6. In the above problem draw a common internal tangent.

7. Draw a common external tangent to two circles of diameter 80 mm each whose centres are located at 120 mm apart.

8. In the above problem draw a common internal tangent.

9. Draw a triangle of sides 60 mm, 45 mm and 50 mm.

10. Construct a pentagon of side 25 mm.

11. Construct a hexagon of side 30 mm.

12. Construct a heptagon of side 25 mm.

13. Construct a octagon of side 30 mm.

14. Construct a nanogon of side 20 mm.

15. Construct a pentagon, hexagon and octagon on a common side AB of 40 mm length.
