The calculations of work done and heat transfer for various flow processes are based on Steady Flow Energy Equation (SFEE) which were already discussed in Unit 1.

The calculations of work done and heat transfer for various flow processes are based on Steady Flow Energy Equation (SFEE) which were already discussed in Unit 1. The same equations are also applicable for the steam. The final form of equations for various steady flow processes or systems are given in the table below.
